Land clearing in Fort Worth: what the ground is like
Tarrant County sits where different North Texas landscapes meet. On the western and northern sides of the Fort Worth area, Cross Timbers ground can include sandy soils, post oak and blackjack oak with cedar and thick understory mixed in. Other parts of the county transition into Fort Worth Prairie, where shallower limestone-based soils and open ground can become overgrown with mesquite, hackberry, and other woody vegetation.
Clearing needs around Fort Worth can range from opening up an acreage lot for a future homesite to reclaiming a long-held family tract that has grown into a thicket. On the outer edges of the city, established homes may also have a few acres behind them that have become overgrown with mesquite, hackberry, and brush. Forestry mulching can open those areas back up while grinding the material in place instead of leaving piles to burn or haul away.

Fort Worth FAQ
Do you work inside Fort Worth city limits?
Yes. We serve properties within Fort Worth as well as the surrounding Tarrant County area. Requirements can vary depending on the property and the work being done, so it is worth checking with the city or any applicable HOA before clearing begins. If I notice something during the walkthrough that may need additional consideration, I’ll make sure we talk about it.
Can you selectively clear an acreage property without removing every tree?
Yes. During the walkthrough, we’ll go over how you want to use the property and which trees or other features you want to keep. The clearing plan can then be built around those priorities rather than treating the entire property the same.
