Ranch Road, Trail & Access Cutting in North Texas
If you cannot get to it, you cannot use it. Y 5 Land Services cuts roads, trails, and lanes through cedar and brush so you can reach the back pasture, the creek, the deer stand, or the future homesite. The mulcher clears the route through vegetation and leaves the processed material on the surface, giving you an opened access path without scraping the entire route down to bare soil.

Planning the route around the property
The right route follows the land. On the walkthrough we go over where the road should run, including the trees worth routing around, and agree on the route before cutting starts. Because the route is opened through mulching rather than scraped down as part of the clearing process, the approach minimizes ground disturbance while opening access through the vegetation.
What’s included
- Route agreed on the walkthrough before cutting
- Clearing width planned around how you intend to use the route
- Processed material left on the surface of the route
- Layout planned around the trees you want to keep
- Fixed price for the quoted clearing route
Fixed price, every time. I walk the property, give you one number, and that number does not change because the brush was thicker than expected.
Questions
Trail & Road Cutting FAQ
How wide should a ranch road be?
That depends on what will use it. A pickup needs less room than a gooseneck or equipment, and hunting and UTV trails can be much narrower. We set the width together on the walkthrough based on your use.
Do you add gravel or base to the roads?
Our core service is opening the route through vegetation and leaving the mulched material on the surface. Caliche or gravel base is a separate step beyond the mulching scope. If the road will need it, I’ll tell you on the walkthrough so you can plan for it.
